Loyola Academy broadcast of Christmas TV Program


The Jesuit Communications (JESCOM) produced a program titled "Yuvakiranam" (Telugu) for Saptagiri TV Channel. This program was telecast on the 25th of December, 2007 at 11.30 A.M. It's an half-an-hour TV program. It had two dances- one classical and the other folk and had two carols in English. The Christmas message in Telugu, the local language was given by Kunduru Joji, Director, Subhoda. The program projects Jesus as the leader of the youth. The programme was well received by the audience. Kaladarshini dancers did the dancing and the carols were sung by the department of Mass Communication, Loyola Academy. The shooting, Singing, Music, editing and the post-production had been done by the students of Mass Communication under the direction of Fr. Lourduraj, head of the Communication Department at Loyola Academy in Alwal, Secunderabad, in Andhra Pradesh, India.
